Shining a light on sports, sisterhood and everything in between.
Anne Onwusiri hosts 'Black Girls Ruck' a podcast about sports, sisterhood and everything in between. Guinness partnered with BGR to shine a light on their incrdible podcast that celebrates the triumphs of black women playing rugby. We partnered with global social media agency, Born Social, the brief was clear, produce a suite of short form, fly on the wall, documentary style content for use across their organic social media campaign.
We dug deep with Anne during Pre-Production to understand and refine her story. We meticulously planned each shot & location in order to tell the story in an authentic & personal way. We developed this into a storyboard & key messages which our director, Adi Alfa, used on set, striking the perfect balance between organic natural moments & the structured messages required to tell the story in this way.
Fresh Cut captured thumb-stopping content to introduce Black Girls Ruck to a wider audience and help shine a positive light on black women who play rugby in the UK. As the hero video was to be posted on Guinness GB's social media followers, the brief was to keep it engaging to cut through the noise on social platforms. Fresh Cut delivered on that through dynamic cinematography and slick video editing. Rick and the team were accommodating throughout and contributed to a campaign that we are so proud of being a part of.
