Rick Frier

Rick is a mastermind of vision, creativity and all things moving image. Having spent 10+ years as a Director of Photography, he now oversees projects at Fresh Cut working as an Executive Producer, with an vast technical knowledge and eye for detail.

His passion for video started over 30+ years ago when five-year-old Rick prepared for show and tell armed only with a cardboard box, roll of wallpaper and a tape recorder. He made a cardboard TV, pulling through the roll of drawings as the soundtrack played: creating moving images for the very first time.

From then on, he spent his spare time making stopframe animations and films with an old VHS handycam, editing & recording silly voicesovers. Not an awful lot has changed.
